Ventilation |
Balslev designs both traditional ventilation for comfort purposes and advanced process plus clean room ventilation - always with an emphasis on optimum indoor climate and low energy consumption
Balslev's vast experience in the field of ventilation covers both simple systems and complex installations for e.g, hospitals, clean room laboratories, manufacturing and other facilities with substantial requirements for the cleanliness, temperature and air humidity.
Our competencies also include traditional ventilation systems for comfort purposes in schools, nursing homes, offices etc.
We design and specify different types of ventilation systems e.g.:
- Comfort ventilation
- Process ventilation for e.g. woodwork classrooms, welding suction, laboratories and the painting industry
- Fire ventilation
- Clean room ventilation
- Operating theatres with conventional ventilation or laminar air flow (LAF)
- Surgical suction.
Minimal energy consuming ventilation without draft discomfort
Due to the fact that ventilation systems can be quite energy demanding, we always ensure that new systems are designed in a way so that energy consumption is minimised. This is to a large extent achieved by:
- Using highly efficient, adjustable ventilation equipment
- Installing different types of recovery systems
- Optimising operating times, if possible in combination with movement sensors.
However, we always ensure that the stipulated requirements for air change, temperature, humidity and CO2 content plus noise level are kept within the agreed levels - and that the building's users do not experience any discomfort.
